DMCA Policy

1. Overview

MangaReader Pro respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our customers to do the same. This DMCA Policy outlines our procedures for responding to claims of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

2. Our Responsibility

As the provider of a self-hosted software product:

• We do not host any user-generated content or manga on our servers
• We do not have access to or control over the content published on sites built with our software
• Copyright claims regarding content on third-party sites should be directed to the site operator or their hosting provider

3. Reporting Infringement on Our Website

If you believe that content on our website (startmangasite.com) infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice containing the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
3. Identification of the infringing material and its location on our website (URL)
4. Your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email)
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

1. Your physical or electronic signature
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it previously appeared
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
4. Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district

6. For Content on Third-Party Sites

If you have a copyright concern about content hosted on a website built with MangaReader Pro (not our website), please:

• Contact the site operator directly (look for their contact information or DMCA page)
• Contact their web hosting provider
• Contact their domain registrar if the above fails

We cannot process DMCA requests for content hosted on servers we do not own or control.

7. Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to terminate the licenses of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. If we receive credible evidence that a licensee is using MangaReader Pro primarily for the purpose of hosting infringing content, we may revoke their license.

8. Good Faith

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability. Before filing a DMCA notice, please consider whether the use of the copyrighted material constitutes fair use.
